Job Title:  Assist Manager /Manager – HR & Admin

Location: Aurangabad, Maharashtra

Gender:  Preferably Male candidate since the position would require travelling.

Age Range: 28-34 yrs

 

Job Purpose: To head the HR & Admin function (end to end) for a group including 3 Units.

This position is responsible for formulation, development, continuous up gradation and implementation of Human Resource policies and processes in line with business needs and the corporate policies that enable building of a high calibre work force and improving employee morale, commitment and productivity. The position is also responsible for enabling harmonious employee relations and continuous organization development initiatives, especially capability building

Employee Strength: Approx 500+

Direct reports – 3, total team size- 5

 

·   Key Responsibilities: Incumbent will be the Head of HR & Admin function for the Group. Handling end to end Generalist HR including Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Talent Development, Employee Engagement, IR & Statutory Compliances etc.

 

·         TALENT ACQUISITION

·         Handling the Manpower Planning & ensuring the timely hiring of personnel’s as per the requirement

·         Assistance in preparation of Group Manpower Budget & annual maintenance of approved budgets

·         Recruitment & Selection

·         On boarding/ Employee orientations

 

·         EMPLOYEE  ENGAGEMENT/ TALENT RETENTION

·         Ensure the culture of High Employee Engagement through various initiatives so as to retain the talent; to control & maintain the attrition level

·         Improvisation of various HR initiatives such as Reward & Recognition, Suggestion Scheme etc to create a culture of High performance orientation

·         PERFORMANCE MANAGEMENT SYSTEMS

·         Implementation of comprehensive meritocracy based performance management system.

·         Instrumental in defining KRA’s for all Verticals & levels.

·         Support Vertical Heads to ensure timely completion of KRA reviews.

·         PAYROLL & COMPLIANCES

·         Handle Payroll process for entire group

·         Timely & Proactive handling of Statutory compliances

·         Handle HR audits related to Payroll, compliances & policies

·         TALENT DEVELOPMENT

·         Training Need Identification  & finalisation of Training Calendar

·         Organise various trainings at unit level to enhance the skill & competency level of employees

·         Implementation of Corporate Training initiatives at State Level.

·         PEOPLE POLICIES

·         Assist in preparation of Companywide people policies & processes with the primary responsibility of implementation at Unit level with the understanding of unit wise requirement.

·         Strategizing lots of HR initiatives and get it implemented at unit level, so must be good task master and an excellent team player.

·         Liaise with other vertical heads to ensure they are fully informed of HR objectives, purpose and achievements.

·         IR & STATUTORY COMPLIANCES

·         Ensure positive industrial climate in the Units which can ensure productivity growth, cost containment and safety compliance as per Group standard

·         Formulate strategy and oversee unit Industrial Relation Manager’s negotiation of the Long Term Settlement on Wages and other service conditions

·         Establish system for implementation of IR policy in a sustainable manner

·         Ensure statutory compliance is done for all units

·         Liaison and attend court related matters 

·         Admin function

·         Ensure oversee smooth functioning of all administration related tasks viz. fire, security, , house keeping, communication, travel, accommodation, insurance, assets etc.

·         Set up systems for maintaining personnel records. System for adherence to statutory requirements / documentation

·         Maintain discipline and norms as per top management norms and policies 

 

 

 

 

 

Requirements:

Knowledge

a)       MBA (pref HR)

b)       6-8 yrs of relevant work exp

g)       Good interpersonal skills with a clarity of thought

Desirable:

d)       Ability to communicate in Marathi

e)       Should preferably have worked in a Matrix reporting structure
